There are thousands of organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of an organization he or she believes in. By building an effective web site, we hope to get our message out to a larger audience of people interested in similar issues.

BGSG is offering a Genealogy 101 Class for new member and others who might feel the need for a basic refresher course.
 
When: Saturday May 30, 2009
 
Where: Blair Caldwell Library First floor small meeting room
 
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
 
Bring: a. brown bag lunch
          b. light weight jacket or sweater
          c. your copy of Genealogy 101 handbook
          d. bring any information about your family such as parent's name, grandparent's name, dates
             of birth and/or death, as well as cities and states.
